Our guys in The Big Bang Theory are great at video games, Dungeons and Dragons, fact-checking, and science. But who would win in a sporting competition? Throughout the ten season we see several times where the guys decide to pick up athletics. These experiments typically do not end well. Here are the sporting events to judge the winner of The Big Bang Theory Nerd Olympics!
Fencing

This sophisticated sport is picked up by Sheldon, Raj, Howard, and Leonard in season 5. The four of them take lessons from Kripke at the university. The show focuses around Kripke teaching basic form while the guys all just want to “touch” one another, as it is referred to in fencing. When the instructor takes a call, the guys are seen to start dueling one another in a haphazard fashion.
Basketball

In Season 5, Sheldon and Kripke decide to play one another for a new office. Whoever gets the free throw first wins. After 45 minutes the tie breaker is whoever can bounce the ball highest. Sheldon wins!
Bowling

Seen in Season 3, the guys go into a bowling match against Wil Wheaton. They were actually not terrible at this sport (if we consider it one). However, Penny proved to be the best player by a landslide.
Paintball

This is a regular sport for the guys. Several episodes feature them talking in full gear in the paintball shed. However we never actually see them hit anyone. We see them shoot one another more than we see them shoot opposing players. Both Sheldon and Penny get shot dead by their own teammates.
Rock Climbing

In Season 2’s The Friendship Algorithm, Sheldon is trying to make friends with Kripke. He agrees to go rock-climbing with his former rival. Halfway up the wall, Sheldon gets “stuck” and passes out.
Wrestling

In The Alien-Parasite Hypothesis, Raj and Howard are debating which of them would make a better Rat-man and which a better sidekick. To settle the matter they decide a wrestling tournament is in order. They get decked out in wrestling gear and circle one another all night throwing out trash talk while Referee Leonard watches on.
