Nicole Kidman Is Crying for Unity!

After Meryl Streep’s very public and very slanderous Golden Globes speech, it’s time someone stepped up to tell it like it is.
Nicole Kidman just did.
The actress — who holds a dual nationality to Australia and The United States — held her ground and urged that as a country, everyone should be supporting Trump.
Her opinion is unlike most of the Hollywood elite, but she isn’t wrong. It may be better, after all, to unite as a country rather than to tear at each other.
In a report by Fox News, Nicole Kidman stated the following on the red carpet of Lion:
“[Trump is] now elected and we, as a country, need to support whoever is the president,”
Currently residing in Nashville with her husband Keith Urban, she also added that the decision is based on…
…what most of the country wants.

The Golden Globes made some sparks as well due to the speech by Meryl Streep. While some have praised her for this, it seems inappropriate to do that in the event that showcases talent.
The aftershock of this was she was dubbed, “one of the most over-rated actresses in Hollywood” by the president-elect.
A lot of other celebrities are tired of the political rants as well.
This decision by Nicole Kidman to urge people to unite is definitely for the best. Nonetheless, the decision has already been made and it’s just about time to accept Trump and finally start uniting as one.
