‘Twas the night before Christmas and all through the House, Pelosi was scurrying like a sneaky little mouse. Dems talked impeachment because for Trump they don’t care, they want control of America so everyone beware.
Progressives were protesting in states that aren’t red, while visions of free everything danced in their heads. Melania dazzled in sequins next to Donald in black although neither one donned a warm winter cap.
A child mowed the White House lawn causing the media to scatter, but Trump yelled “fake news” and it no longer mattered. He jumped on to Twitter suggesting in a flash, that liberal press lies and writes anything to make cash.
January 20 ended the failing Obama show, and the new sheriff in town didn’t bow to allies or foes. This man amazed everyone when he first appeared and to millions of deplorables he was quickly endeared.
With little old Hillary, a liar and cheat, Americans knew in a moment she had to be beat. More rapid than eagles Trump’s supporters they came, and he didn’t hesitate to call them by name.
Hey soldiers and veterans, men and women in blue, working class families I’m running for you. I’ll make America safe, and I will build a wall, I’ll capture the illegals and deport them all.
As news of his victory spread far and wide, snowflakes melted, and enemies cried. What happened they asked though everyone knew, it was out with the old and in with new. Then up to the White House the Trump family flew, there was Ivanka and Jared, and young Barron too.
And then in a twinkling, it was shared on the news, the Russians interfered and with Trump they did collude. Leftist threw up their hands and started digging around, but after a year of investigating nothing was found.
Looking very presidential from his head to his foot, Trump burned-up his critics, leaving behind ashes and soot. To Americans he brought a bundle of toys, he signed the Tax cuts and Jobs Act for deserving girls and boys.
With a twinkle in his eyes and a smile so merry, he fought his opponents leaving them weary. From out of his mouth truth finally flowed because the American public had a right to know. The lies and ridicule had Trump gritting his teeth, but he remained undeterred by all the relentless grief.
He’s strong and determined, a right jolly old elf, and contrary to rumors, a picture of health. Soon he announced it’s America first, he grew the economy and brought back the wealth. With the stroke of his pen, he tackled our fear and it didn’t take long before there was nothing to dread.
The president spoke not a word but rather went straight to work, he took aim at terrorists and Washington jerks. And laying aside personal business matters, Trump laid out his goal of leaving D.C. in tatters.
He jumped in head first and assembled a team, from John Kelly to Jim Mattis, the generals would lead. And we heard him proclaim as he geared up for the fight, Merry Christmas to all and to all a good life.
From our Monday Monday Network family to yours, have a very Merry Christmas and a blessed New Year.
