Eugene Finally Feels Appreciated

Ever since he told the truth to Abraham, Eugene has been ridiculed and neglected. Negan has already showed him more appreciation than Rick ever did, so it’s possible that he’ll actually work with Negan.

Eugene Stands Up For Himself (But Is Rude)

When looking for ingredients to help out Negan’s sister-wives, Eugene stands up for himself, but then overdoes it. He’s already taken advantage of the small bit of power Negan has provided him.

Eugene Enjoys Being A Leader

Beyond his newfound appreciation and gumption, Eugene seems to enjoy telling others what to do and stretching out his mind. Based on the evidence so far, it looks like he’ll fall in place with Negan rather than stick with Rick Grimes.
