A crowd of just under 1 million is expected in Washington D.C. for the inauguration of President-elect Donald Trump. But not everyone will be there to celebrate his historic victory.

We have recently published stories on plans to disrupt inaugural events and create chaos in the streets. In total, almost 100 different groups are estimated as planning some type of protest on January 20th.

In consideration of the world of “global terrorism” we now live in, security officials have had to consider the unthinkable.

The possibility of “truck attacks” and “dirty bombs” has created a need for new and innovative ways to protect Trump and the citizens.

The most obvious sign of protection will be the large vehicles sealing the area around the National Mall. An area that will be more “fortified than usual” according to Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson.
