Another Illegal Alien Captured Under Trump’s New Enforcements
In North Carolina, an illegal alien accused of “hacking two men to death” in a Honduran liquor store back in 1993 was just arrested. The alien was captured by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) operation.
The 56-year-old alien, Francisco Escobar-Orellana, was captured on Tuesday morning near his home in Hope Mills. Escobar had also been arrested back in 2011 for driving under the influence.
Honduras filled the arrest warrant for him in 2005.
Killer Illegal Alien Caught In North Carolina
According to an official press release from ICE:
“Mr. Escobar is wanted in Honduras pursuant to a May 2005 arrest warrant for allegedly hacking two men to death with a machete at a liquor store in 1993. Mr. Escobar subsequently unlawfully entered the United States at an unknown time/place.”
The Fugitive Operations Team that caught Escobar was based out of Atlanta and assigned to help ICE. The Daily Caller reported that the agency did not have any encounters with Escobar, including the DUI back in 2011.
Escobar was booked in Wake County and is still in custody.
Field Officer Comments On The Event
ICE’s Atlanta field office director Sean Gallagher commented on the event, “ICE is focused on identifying, arresting and removing public safety threats, such as convicted criminal aliens and gang members, as well as individuals who have violated our nation’s immigration laws.”
In addition, Gallagher added, “ICE Fugitive Operations Teams conduct targeted enforcement operations toward these identified threats to public safety. North Carolina residents are safer today thanks to the professionalism and hard work of these dedicated officers.”
We might add, and thanks to the newest orders and plans from Trump’s cabinet, criminals (bad dudes) like this are being captured all across the United States.
Do you feel safer knowing criminals like these are being taken off the streets?
