Mexican Congressman Climbs U.S. Border Fence To Show It’s “Absurdness,” But…
Mexican Congressman Climbs Trump’s Wall
Last Wednesday, a Mexican congressman wanted to illustrate why he feels President Trump’s controversial U.S.-Mexico border wall is both “totally absurd” and completely “unnecessary.”
Braulio Guerra, the congressman from Queretaro, tweeted photos and videos of himself on top of a 30-foot fence that separated Tijuana from the United States of America. Guerra is trying to make a stand.
Obviously, he doesn’t see the bigger picture.
Scale, Climb, And Sit On Trump’s Wall
“I was able to scale it, climb it, and sit myself right here,” said the congressman in a video on Twitter. “It would be simple for me to jump into the United States, which shows that it is unnecessary and totally absurd to build a wall.”
“It’s easy, and it shows how unnecessary this project, this political rhetoric from Donald Trump is,” continued the congressman. This is somewhat similar to the Mexican government giving out pamphlets on illegal importation.
In one of the photos, there are two other people atop the fence.
More Illegal Immigrant Encouragement From Mexico
Guerra went on to say that he climbed the fence at a higher section in Tijuana as well. “Even from a distance, this looks very complex, but there are young people that go up and down, at all times,” said the congressman.
Ironically, there are no photos or videos of the man actually climbing the fence. Perhaps it’s not so easy to climb or else he may have shown how the sausage was made, so to speak.
That said, while his message was meant to show absurdity within Trump’s wall, the man is missing the bigger picture. The wall, while large in stature, is only part of the new plan to slow down illegal immigrants who wish to enter the United States.
The only absurdity here are these photos and video.
What do you think of these ridiculous photos and claims?
