Kellyanne Conway “Counseled” For TV Appearance
On Thursday, Kellyanne Conway was “counseled” for urging viewers to purchase products by Ivanka Trump while on television. The 8-second comment has the liberals out for Conway, who is one of Trump’s top advisers.
Legal experts believe this was an effort from Conway to violate ethic rules since those in the political spotlight are not allowed to endorse or promote products that can associate financial interests.
“Go buy Ivanka’s stuff is what I would say,” said Ms. Conway.
Kellyanne Conway said, “I’m going to give a free commercial here: Go buy it today, everybody, you can find it online.” Conway mentioned this because of the various outlets like Nordstrom that are dropping Ivanka Trump’s brand for political reasons.
The White House Press Secretary didn’t elaborate on what the counseling consisted of, but it came from President Trump. In addition, the comments were investigated by the Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington.
Essentially, no one can use the public office for personal gain to endorse friends…
Using Ivanka In Order To Attack Donald Trump
The Trumps have taken major steps to avoid conflicts such as this one and the New York Times reported that they even withdrew “from more than a dozen planned international deals” since the Presidency.
Ms. Conway’s comments were about the family clash with Nordstrom, so it was more defensive than a random endorsement. In regards to the attack on Ivanka, she also said, “They’re using her to get to him.”
For some reason, these die hard advocators have yet to applaud Kellyanne Conway for being the first woman to run a victorious Presidential campaign or for Ivanka Trump’s business sense because they’re too busy stewing in hatred for Donald.
