AMC’s The Walking Dead has spent a great deal of time and effort into turning their comic book characters into iconic live action stars. Maggie and Michonne essentially burst from the page, similarly to Negan’s dialogue in Season 7 on the show.
Other characters like Daryl Dixon and Sasha were not originally in the comic, but these characters have certainly turned into fan favorites. Some characters even wish Daryl was in the comic so they could see more of the famous character.
There are other characters within The Walking Dead universe that may appear soon on the AMC series.
