With Eugene in Lock Up
The Walking Dead | Photo Credit AMC In the final moments of The Walking Dead midseason 7 finale, Eugene demonstrated his recipe for making bullets to Negan. Despite losing Eugene to Negan’s imprisonment, Rick and the gang, are going to have to come up with some way to find new weapons when the series returns.
Based on some photos released by AMC, it looks like there will be some dynamite involved when the series returns. In another photo, some walnuts and peanuts are revealed, so it’s looking like the gang is making dynamite. Nutshells can actually be used as a filler in dynamite and peanuts contain glycerol, which is also needed.

When The Walking Dead returns, there are several ways that the gang can get back at Negan and the Saviors. In terms of dynamite, it would most likely best be used to attack a vehicle. There are several ways that Rick and the gang could use dynamite to take out several Saviors with a dynamite.
They could have Jesus climb on one of the returning supply trucks and toss in a bomb, but that would also take out valuable supplies. Instead, they could use the dynamite on the supply trucks once they enter Alexandria, for example, which would mean Negan’s saviors would be without an exit strategy for the gang to attack.
Since several of the good guys, such as Michonne, Daryl, and Jesus, already know the location of the Sanctuary, they could also use dynamite to attack the Saviors directly on their turf, so it’s really a versatile weapon to start their way.
But what will they do next?
Partnering With Oceanside

While there still isn’t any direct evidence, it would seem that Alexandria needs to partner with Oceanside in order to better arm themselves to fight off the Saviors.
Getting into a dialogue with Oceanside still seems difficult, so Tara will likely need to find Cyndie in order for this conversation to get started.
