Mobile phones represent the biggest market for video games right now, and every publisher and company in the world is clamoring for a piece of the pie. Everywhere you turn, someone is talking about Pokémon Go (or Nintendo’s other newly announced platformer, Super Mario Run). Disney has their own long history of mobile games, though. The latest from the House of Mouse is Disney Enchanted Tales, out this month.
Think SimCity — But With Princesses
Enchanted Tales allows players to build their very own fairy tale kingdom, building by building. There are three worlds included in the game: Tangled, Frozen, and Beauty and the Beast.

As you complete tasks and accomplish certain goals in the game, players can unlock new buildings for their kingdom, including recognizable locations like Elsa’s Ice Palace, The Snuggly Duckling, and Belle’s Bookstore.
You’ll start out the game by choosing which of the three worlds you’d like to build. After a quick recap of that world’s story and characters, a brief tutorial explains the basics, and then it’s time to play! By completing in-game tasks, players will gain stars and coins, which can be used to gain experience levels and to buy new equipment and buildings.
Initially, you’ll be locked into the world you chose at the beginning of the game. At levels six and 13, though, players can unlock the additional two storylines. So don’t worry if you’re torn between Frozen and Tangled — you’ll be able to play both eventually.
Enchanted Tales is truly an immersive experience for Disney fans, featuring trademark characters like Belle, Gaston, Flynn Rider, Anna, and more. Building and exploring your own kingdom gives you an opportunity to interact with your favorite movies and characters in a whole new way.
