Sadie Robertson can make a grown man cry
Sadie Robertson seems like a nice person who loves everybody, so why did she make an Uber driver cry?
In a recent blog post titled, “True Love,” she talks to those who have been hurt, especially on Valentine’s Day. But before she posted her writings, she wanted to read it to her two girlfriends to get their feedback. The three of them took an Uber car and they listened to Sadie read.
“Maybe Valentine’s Day has been a bad one for some of you today or in the past,” she read aloud. “Maybe you were lied to, cheated on, felt lonely, battled with not feeling loved, and questioned your future.”
She reads about the time she discovered — on Valentine’s Day — that her boyfriend was cheating on her.
“…I found out my boyfriend was cheating on me by a lovely picture of him kissing another girl at a movie while I was out of town,” she writes.
But he wasn’t the only one listening. The Uber driver, unbeknownst to her, was listening intently…
Men do cry
LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE. Blog Post & Video coming later tonight about the love I have found, and how it has completely changed my life. I was reading my blog post to these 2 girls in our uber ride to make sure it was good, and the uber driver politely interrupted by saying "wow. I'm about to cry. That was lovely, and I really needed to hear that. Thank you for sharing." A middle aged man in Los Angeles, California. This kind of love is completely contagious. Read about it soon 😘
He, a middle-aged man from Los Angeles, interrupted Sadie’s reading.
“Wow,” he said. “I’m about to cry. That was lovely, and I really needed to hear that. Thank you for sharing.”
Sadie posted this story on her Instagram with her own takeaway.
“This kind of love is completely contagious,” she says.
And as her blog post concludes, Sadie is simply trying to help people. She’s trying to get God into people’s lives.
