Tech giants like Facebook and Twitter are cracking down on what they call “hate speech.” Many believe their efforts are about silencing the viewpoints of conservatives. But, when it comes to slamming President Trump, it seems all is fair. Which, is why you may be seeing a new despicable hashtag trending in your news feed.

#NaziBucketChallenge

No, we are not kidding. Leftists are introducing their take on the ALS “ice bucket challenge” trend, to shame President Trump. The movement as they call it, comes in response to recent comments from ESPN host, Jemele Hill. Igniting a social media firestorm, Hill made a series of disparaging remarks about the president on Twitter last week.

“Donald Trump is a white supremacist who has largely surrounded himself w/ other white supremacists,” she tweeted. “Trump is the most ignorant, offensive president of my lifetime. His rise is a direct result of white supremacy. Period.”

However, it was White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders’ comments that drew the criticism of the left. “That’s one of the more outrageous comments that anyone could make and certainly something that I think is a fireable offense by ESPN,” Sanders told reporters during a briefing.

Defending Bigotry

Rushing to Hill’s defense, Twitter users are posting their own tweets calling President Trump a white supremacist. Additionally, many of them are daring the president to respond. The website, bipartisanreport.com, happily shared some of the responses while appearing to congratulate the commenters.

Significantly, ESPN appears to have a double standard when it comes to “racist” comments. Former Major League pitcher, Curt Schilling, was fired from the network in 2016, after criticizing a transgender bathroom law. And he isn’t the only conservative on the receiving end of their hypocrisy.

The “Worldwide Leader in Sports” ended their Monday Night Football partnership with country singer, Hank Williams Jr., in 2011. His offense was comparing Obama golfing with John Boehner, as being like “Hitler golfing Netanyahu.” But, in a surprising turn of events, ESPN announced his return for the 2017-2018 season.

Regardless, Schilling is calling-out ESPN for defending Hill’s right to speak freely after firing him for doing the same. “Let’s be very clear about something,” Schilling told Sean Hannity. “Jemele Hill has always been a racist–in the things that she says and the things that she does.” He added, “The left has always been the party of racism and intolerance.”
