Musical Notes

Maybe those aren’t “P”s  at all. They could be musical notes… but then again, what would Heath have meant by that? Tara with PPP key card on The Walking DeadImage Credit: AMC

Peach Plum Pear

Maybe we were never intended to find out what “PPP” stood for. Instead, could it be an inside joke or Easter egg reference to Alanna Masterson’s 2001 film, Peach Plum Pear?

Who knows how Heath and Tara passed the time on that two-week expedition? Maybe “PPP” was just a reference to Heath’s favorite board game…

Triple-D

Maybe Tara is just holding that key card upside down? If you flip it around, you get “DDD” instead of “PPP.” But what could “DDD” stand for? “Ding dong ditch”? “Dungeons and Dragons and Dragons”?

Potomac Power Plant

In all seriousness, the Potomac Power Plant is a real location not far from Alexandria, Virginia. We know the Saviors like to take up residence in factories and satellite outposts — could they have taken Heath to another stronghold at the nearby power plant?

What do you think “PPP” stands for? Do you think we’ll ever see Heath again on The Walking Dead?
