Academy award-winning actor Morgan Freeman didn’t vote for Donald Trump. But unlike many other Hollywood celebrities, Freeman is betting on Trump to be a good president. In a recent interview with AARP: The Magazine, he had nothing but positive things to say about President Trump.

“I’m holding out hope that Donald Trump has to be a good president. He can’t not be. What I see is a guy who will not lose.”

Freeman’s message was one of hope and possibility rather than the typical hate-filled, divisive rhetoric spread by the likes of Meryl Streep. He is also proof that although Americans may be divided by political parties, they do not have to be divided in spirit.

Speaking about Trump’s first day in office, Freeman admitted he voted for Clinton and felt that as a nation “we are jumping off cliff.” But he says he isn’t scared about the changes Trump is making–or about the future of the country:

“We just have to find out how we land. I’m not scared, though.”
