Is Messi, Suarez And Neymar The Best Attacking Trio In History?

0

Football is a team sport, which means every player is important to win matches. There’s a reason why Bayern Munich paid $35+ million for the best goalkeeper in the world.

For big teams like Barcelona, Bayern and R. Madrid, it’s vital to have a world class player in every position.  And it means that big teams need players with both physical and mental stability.

Lots of great, skillful players come and go, and big teams are usually willing to spend a lot of money to sign a future super star.

But that is a huge gamble for every team.

Because at the end of the day, it’s not about quality, it’s all about the ability to keep improving.

The Messi, Suarez and Neymar Trio Is Getting Better Every Year

We all remember Neymar’s first season at Barcelona. He was often losing the ball, easily falling down in duels, and wasn’t scoring as expected.

But his second season was way better, and in his third season he is worth way more than Barcelona paid for him.

The same goes for Suarez. Because of his ban regarding the World Cup incident, he had to wait 6 months before he was able to start for Barcelona.

He struggled in his first few matches, and we can easily say that his first half a season wasn’t impressive. But now, he is the best striker in the world.

Messi was physically weak at the beginning, and he couldn’t cope with stronger defenders. But look at him now!

The whole “MSN” trio is improving both individually and as a team.  Which we can notice by the goals they’re scoring.  Watch the video and see for yourself!

Everyone knows that Messi is the leader of the trio. But he’s not “just” a leader.  He’s also all-in…He’s willing to share set pieces and penalties with Neymar and Suarez.

He helped Suarez become the best scorer in the 2015-2016 season, because he had no problems with sharing penalties.

He allowed Neymar to take the free-kick against Celtic in the Champions League stage:

The Trio Is Breaking Records And Winning Tittles

When Messi, Suarez and Neymar retire, no one is going to judge them by dribbling or fancy skills. They will be remembered as the best attacking trio ever.  Because of goals, titles and assists.

And they already have plenty of goals, assists and titles together!

The only trio that comes close to MSN is Henry, Eto and Messi. They’ve managed to score 100 goals in over two years.

On the other hand, the MSN trio scored 122 goals in two years.

Not even Rivaldo, Ronaldo, Luis Figo or Maradona come close to 122 goals in two years.

I will let the expert say it all…

“We have the best attack in the world, I think it is the best forward line in history.”
“Here, I see everyone in Europe from Bayern Munich to Real Madrid. Today, Barcelona are the best team in the world — a team to enjoy from a distance.” – Xavi Hernandez.
