Maxine Waters May Be Inventing A Trump “Scandal… Look What She Said
California Representative, Maxine Waters, made her most ridiculous statement yet about President Trump. Firing-up liberal women at the Sojourner Truth Luncheon, she compares the president to alleged serial rapist Harvey Weinstein. But, Waters’ profanity-laced rant proved once again to be short on facts and long on hypocrisy.
Dubbed by the left as “Aunty Maxine,” Waters has made a name for herself by pandering to the never-Trump crowd every chance she gets. Whether it be at a funeral or a women’s conference, she belittles President Trump. But this time, she takes her political grandstanding a step too far by suggesting the president assaults women.
One of the loudest ovations for Waters came when she brought up how Trump allegedly walked intimidatingly near Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton during a 2016 debate. “Remember what Hillary should have said: Creep, get off my back!” she told the crowd. “This president has no respect for women.”
Also, Waters claims that women in almost every profession suffer from sexual harassment. Citing teachers, nurses, women serving in the military and fellow U.S. representatives who’ve added their voices to the #MeToo movement. She declared that such behavior toward women would not be tolerated.
“Keep your nasty comments away from us… Keep your hands off our backs and our g–damn bodies. We’re not going to take it anymore.”
Naturally, Waters offered no evidence to back-up her assertions about President Trump. The president has never been charged with sexual assault or misconduct. Can you say that about Democrats? Bill Clinton, has multiple charges of harassment, and at least one rape accusation.
Waters protects them. Which makes her complicit in their abuse. Not a defender of women.
A Closer Look
Nevertheless, women in attendance were hanging on Waters’ every word.
To conclude her vulgar speech, she led the group in her customary impeachment chant. A move that struck a chord with 40-year-old Laura Chapman. “I loved how she called Trump out, and I loved how she encouraged women to speak out and led us in an ‘impeach’ chant,” Chapman said.
Joining Waters at the event were Democratic Michigan Congresswomen Debbie Dingell and Brenda Lawrence, Emily’s List President, Stephanie Schriock and Mulsim sympathizer, Linda Sarsour. Schriock cited goals of taking back the House and Senate from the Trump-led GOP in upcoming elections. She added, “And Donald Trump, we’re coming for you next.”
In spite of her fire and brimstone rhetoric, a closer look at some facts proves President Trump is not the problem.
Consider this: Two Michigan cities rank highest in the nation for crimes against women. Saginaw and Flint come in at numbers one and five respectively. Both are located in the Michigan’s fifth district and are represented by Democrat, Dan Kildee. It looks like Waters and her flunkies are aiming for the wrong guy.
And, the wrong party.
