According to a recent story from the New York Post, naked street performers (a.k.a. illegal immigrants) have swarmed Times Square in New York City. “I told you, if you don’t have a tip, then f*** off,” one woman told a New York Post reporter. Those in costume were seen and heard cursing at those who walked by, mauling elderly ladies and demanding cash for photos. “I just encountered that with Cookie Monster,” one Alabama tourist told the New York Post. “I didn’t want to get a photo, and he or she or whoever it was, they were very aggressive with me.”

Now you might be wondering why the police don’t just arrest these menaces to society, right?

Sadly, the answer to that question isn’t that surprising. They can’t arrest them because they are, in most cases, illegal immigrants. Mayor Bill de Blasio’s “sanctuary city” policies prevent the police from doing their job.

Police officers confirmed to the Post that their hands are tied.

A spokesperson for the NYPD, no doubt a de Blasio mouthpiece, refuted that claim-noting they have made several arrests and issued “hundreds of summonses.” Another fine example of Democratic rule at work, isn’t it?

Is this New York’s  idea of helping the “tired, hungry, and poor,”?
