Holder Told The GOP “Don’t Mess With Mueller,” But Then Benghazi Hero Says
Former Obama Attorney General Eric Holder, rumored to be eyeing the presidency for 2020, is the last person that should be meddling in government affairs. Given his own scandalous history, the fact that he’s standing up for Robert Mueller should be a red flag. Benghazi hero Kris “Tanto” Paronto happily pointed that out.
The controversy started, when Holder inserted himself into the chaos surrounding Mueller and the Russia probe. He blasted the recent GOP attacks on the special counsel in a audacious Twitter rant. More specifically, Holder suggested Mueller is a victim of a smear campaign.
“Speaking on behalf of the vast majority of the American people, Republicans in Congress be forewarned: any attempt to remove Bob Mueller will not be tolerated.” Holder tweeted. “These are BS attacks on him/his staff that are blatantly political-designed to hide the real wrongdoing. Country not party.”
Surely, Holder can’t be talking about Peter Strzok who purposely tried derailing the Trump campaign? Or, Mueller’s team members that donated money to Holder’s former boss and Hillary Clinton? Because if he was referring to those people, then he would know who is responsible for the “real wrongdoing.”
Not surprisingly, Holder’s followers loved his comments. The tweet garnered more than 75,000 likes and nearly 20,000 responses. However, not everyone was drinking the Kool-Aid he handed out. Outspoken Trump supporter and Benghazi survivor Kris Paronto issued a savage response to Holder’s warning.
“Weren’t you the only Attorney General in U.S. history to be held in contempt of congress??” Paronto responded. “And you don’t speak for me or the vast majority of the American people you POS!! Get back in your hole rat. Better still, “Tanto” concluded his blistering rebuke with the hashtags #FastandFurious, #corrupt, and #liar.
In the end, Paronto’s message was clear. Forced to resign for sending guns to Mexican drug cartels disqualifies you from lecturing anyone on responsibility. Especially when drug-runners used those guns to kill a United States Border Patrol agent. Someone should warn Holder that the American people are sick of double-standards.
