Clinton Administration Panics After Corruption Scandal Leaks… This Could Finish Them

News reports are flooding the media displaying how Hillary Clinton’s State Department was, at the very least, bankrupt of integrity. With a rounded number at 85 out of 154 “private interests” people met with Clinton while she was Secretary of State. These were high dollar donors contributing to her family charity. If that’s not bad enough, reports indicate that there were at least 16 foreign governments donating an estimated $170 million dollars.    

In an uncharacteristic move for a republican, Donald Trump seized the moment.

“It is now clear that the Clinton Foundation is the most corrupt enterprise in political history,” Trump said in a statement, reiterating a claim he made earlier in the week. “We’ve now learned that a majority of the non-government people she met with as secretary of state gave money to the corrupt Clinton Foundation. … It was wrong then, and it is wrong now — and the foundation must be shut down immediately.”

“It is impossible to figure out where the Clinton Foundation ends and the State Department begins,” he said, adding, “The specific crimes committed to carry out that enterprise are too numerous to cover in this speech.”

Backing up his running mate, Indiana Governor Mike Pence, underscored Trump’s statement by saying,

“The fact Hillary Clinton’s official schedule was full of meetings with Clinton Foundation donors is further evidence of the pay-to-play politics at her State Department. No one is above the law…”

RNC Chairman Reince Priebus also jumped on the Trump train adding,

“This is among the strongest and most unmistakable pieces of evidence of what we’ve long suspected: at Hillary Clinton’s State Department, access to the most sensitive policy makers in U.S. diplomacy was for sale to the highest bidder…”  

While it must be noted that the meetings between Clinton and her family foundation’s donors give the appearance of criminal intent, they did not appear to violate the signed agreement she and her husband, Bill Clinton had with the Obama administration.

Nonetheless, even the AP has observed that, “the frequency of the overlaps shows the intermingling of access and donations, and fuels perceptions that giving the foundation money was a price of admission for face time with Clinton.”

All of which, might not land the former first lady in jail, as some would hope. It does, however, give a stark reminder of the type of politics that the Clinton duo are famous for.

When President Bill Clinton was in office, they turned the Lincoln Bedroom into a bed and breakfast, and the Oval Office into a brothel. One can only imagine what would be for sale with Hillary Clinton as president, with Bill left unsupervised in the White House.

This should generate a wide range of cannon fodder to level at the Clintons. The problem is, does anyone care?
