Mark Zuckerberg – Facebook CEO
There has been a lot of talk about celebrities like The Rock, Oprah, and Tom Hanks running for President in 2020. Donald Trump has certainly changed the game as far as who could get elected since all prerequisites have been eradicated.
Beyond the celebrity world, there are also a few billionaires who seem to be considering a 2020 run. Mark Zuckerberg, the founder and CEO of Facebook, for example, has been seen in several photo ops that look quite “Presidential.”
This includes a tour of the Ford shop in Detroit, Michigan. You are never going to guess the other two…
Bob Iger – Disney CEO
Next, there’s Disney CEO Big Iger, who is a fellow business billionaire like Donald Trump. Iger is the CEO of Disney so he’s also got a connection with various Hollywood big wigs, which have encouraged him to consider office.
“A lot of people — a lot — have urged me to seek political office,” said Iger, in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter. Iger even consulted with former New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg about holding public office.
The Disney CEO will not make any decisions until his contract ends in 2018.
Mark Cuban – Dallas Mavericks Owner
Finally, there’s Mark Cuban, who is perhaps one of the most famous CEOs and entrepreneurs on the planet. He’s not quite as huge as Donald Trump, but the show Shark Tank may not exist without him.
Cuban and Trump hate one another, so pure adrenaline may come into play for a Cuban-Trump battle in 2020. Cuban said a candidate no longer needed to be “perfect” to win, so he’s considering the hefty goal.
“Well, it’s certainly more of a consideration than it ever was,” said Cuban in an interview with Meet the Press back in May 2016. “You don’t have to be the perfect Stepford candidate like you would’ve been in the past.”
Would you vote for any of these billionaires based on name alone?
