Before her fifth surgery, her parents let her choose what she wanted to do — anything.
“How about a family party,” Mia asked. “Dad’s cousins.”
Jase told her that he has a lot of cousins, but she was determined to have this family party.
“Well, bring ’em all in,” she replied.
