Brighton and Reed Robertson
Missy Robertson wished her son and daughter-in-law a Happy one year anniversary this week on Instagram. The proud duck mama said, “Happy One-Year Anniversary to these two lovebirds! Your sacrifice, commitment and hard work make this mama proud.”
It’s hard to believe it’s been a whole year since Brighton and Reed Robertson’s wedding. The pair tied the knot in their hometown of Monroe Louisiana at just 21-years-old. The couple had been high school sweethearts. They were engaged in December of 2015 and married just less than a year later.
The craziest part of the Robertson couple’s wedding was their honeymoon fiasco. Reed told fans, “Brighton and I’s first day of marriage has been, well, interesting. Got kicked off our flight at 5am, ate Popeyes for lunch, saw a terrible movie, and missing 2 days of our honeymoon because of it and I couldn’t be more thrilled to adventure with you Brighton. Today and for the rest of my life.”
Brighton posted an Instagram in honor of her anniversary. She said, “Happy one year of marriage to my best friend! We heard the fisrt year of marriage is the hardest. Well, if that’s the case then I’m looking forward to many more. Here’s to forever my love…”
Recent Love Letters
Recently the Brighton and Reed Robertson have shown some serious public affection for one another. They are living in Nashville, where Reed is pursuing a music career, and Brighton is in school. Reed wrote on his Instagram, “She’s the hardest working woman I know. Between working and nursing school and traveling and even babysitting, she finds time to love me and help others. Her heart is made of gold. I’m sure of it.”
It seems their first year of marriage has been easy. Reed wrote, “1 year with you. You’re the greatest best friend, fur mama, kick in the butt and life partner a man could ever ask for. Happy Anniversary”
Congrats to Brighton and Reed Robertson, and we wish them many more years of happiness.
