Remember how Duck Dynasty‘s Sadie Robertson went on a social media fast? Well, she’s finally revealed the real reason why she did that.

Sadie Robertson (photo via YouTube) As we already know, Sadie invited everyone to her 20th birthday party where she would be making a huge announcement — a “gift” to her fans, as she called it.

And finally, the day came when she revealed this gift via live stream.

As she sat on a porch in her new home of Nashville, Tn., she thanked her fans who tuned into the live stream for supporting her and joining her birthday celebration.

She didn’t waste much time before she told everyone the big news.

“This is my gift to all of you and I’m so excited to announce that we are going on another Live Original Tour this fall and it’s gonna be with literally some of my favorite people out on the road,” she said. “We’re gonna have a blast. We’ve already started praying over this, dreaming about this, and creating this, and it holds a special place in my heart, that’s why I’m so emotional.”

So what does this have to do with her social media fast?

Everything.

She said that if she had been on Instagram this whole time, she may have spoiled everything.

“This is my most exciting thing ever, and I’m so glad to finally share that with you because if I was not taking an Instagram fast for the past two months, I may have let that slip!” she said.

On the new Live Original Tour, she’ll be with her brother John Luke, Anthem Lights, Hollyn, Chris McClarney of Jesus Culture, and Steven Malcom. The tour, which is from October 19 to November 12, is set to visit 16 cities across the US in:

  • Alabama
  • Tennessee
  • Florida
  • Mississippi
  • Arkansas
  • Missouri
  • Georgia
  • North Carolina
  • South Carolina
  • Illinois
  • Indiana
  • Texas
