Colt Ford recently asked the show’s Willie Robertson to become an actor of sorts. In Ford’s new single, “Cut ‘Em All,” Robertson makes an appearance. The single is on the country artist’s forthcoming album, “Answer to No One: The Colt Ford Classics,” coming out October 23.
In the music video, Robertson and Ford are detectives searching in the Tennessee forest for a three-footed duck. The duck’s name? Diggs.
The video opens with the two cool dudes rolling up to a crime scene in a convertible wearing aviator sunglasses. The music starts with a really cool bluesy guitar, only before it jumps into a hip-hop beat underneath fapping (fake rapping).
This continues through the whole song while the video shows the two out on the trail of this monster-duck-thing.
All in all, it’s a humorous video with a head-bobbing song. Check it out:
Ford’s done this before. For his song “She’s Like,” he asked Keith Urban to team up, the song appearing on Ford’s album, “Thanks for Listening.”
“When I played him that song, before the second chorus started, he was already singing along,” Ford told The Boot. “I was like, ‘Yes! I got him. He likes it.’ So he recorded it, and it’s really cool. It’s a cool song.”
Ford just loves collaborating with other artists. That’s where the creativity flows the best.
“[Festivals are] a chance to get to play with multiple artists that sometimes you don’t get to see during [other tours],” he told The Boot. “You know, you’re going this way, they’re going that way, so you get to see your buddies and have a chance at the festivals, a lot of times, to hang out a little bit. It’s a lot of fun. And then, when you get the right group of artists together, you never know what may happen — people jumping on stage and things like that, so that’s always a lot of fun.”
Ford is no stranger to movies either. He was recently in “Joe Dirt 2: Beautiful Loser,” a movie in which he performs his song, “Diggin’,” and appears alongside David Spade, Christopher Walken, and Dennis Miller.
“When David Spade reached out about performing “Diggin’” in the sequel, I was stoked,” Ford said. “The original Joe Dirt is hilarious and is still one of my favorites. I’m a big fan of David Spade.”

Willie, on the other hand, has been in the news recently, including being criticized for “abusing” the American flag, for starting his own podcast, and for anything that happens with Duck Dynasty.
And apparently, he’s done this whole “music” thing before.
“I cut a rap song once,” he said. “It was a few years ago for my old show ‘Buck Commander,’ and it was a song called ‘You’re Short.’ It was about my camera guy. We shot the video in Las Vegas, ‘Ocean’s Eleven’ style!”
Why is Robertson doing all of this? The show, music, his duck call business — why does he feel the need to stay so busy?
