The schedule for this year’s Comic-Con in San Diego has just rolled out and that means fans can sink their teeth into some new content and take a look at what’s next for the zombie-driven series.

At last year’s event, fans got to experience Shiva the Tiger and Ezekiel for the first time, in the trailer, so we may see some new characters for next season.

Cleveland writes:

“The schedule for this year’s Comic-Con is rolling out, which is a big deal for fans of ‘The Walking Dead.” Both “TWD” and its spinoff series “Fear the Walking Dead” will fill halls during the convention on Friday, July 21. That may not mean much unless you’re heading to San Diego in July.”

“However, it does mean we will get our first look at Season 8 of AMC’s hit series. Without fail, “The Walking Dead” debuts its trailer for the upcoming season at Comic Con each year. So fans anticipating what the all-out war between Rick’s crew and Negan’s Saviors will look like can expect the first trailer for Season 8 to arrive online just after 4 p.m. EST.”

What Might Happen In Season 8…

So we’re only a few weeks away from seeing what’s next for Rick Grimes and company as they prepare to take down Negan in Season 8. We predict the 100th episode, which is the premiere, will involve a Rick-led attack on the Sanctuary.

There’s no real evidence to support this other than a leaked photo of Andrew Lincoln where it appeared to show the Sanctuary in the background. In addition, it’s unclear what that might mean for Eugene, who is currently acting as a Savior.

What else do you think might happen in Season 8 on The Walking Dead?
