The Walking Dead Season 8 trailer just hit Comic Con in San Diego and there are a lot of predictions that can be made based on the trailer, the comic book, and some other online fan prediction after Season 7 of the AMC series.

As such, we have “21 Predictions for Season 8 On The Walking Dead” based on the initial trailer from Comic Con. As one of our predictions, we think the King is going to give up and peace completely and teach every single person to fight.

Carol, of course, will be there to help.

Last year, the big debate was what to do about the Saviors. For the bulk of the season, King Ezekiel was only concerned with keeping his people safe. For him, that essentially meant doing whatever the Saviors asked of him.

After Benjamin and Richard died, however, it was clear that feeding walkers to pigs and meeting for cantaloupe deals would no longer cut it. The Saviors were simply too wild to trust, especially after Benjamin got shot.

Not only that, but the King discovered that Richard was plotting against him. With an enemy in front of him and a disturbance in the Kingdom, it’s time for war.

Now that the King also knows Hilltop and Alexandria will work with him, he can ask for Carol to be herself and work with him as well. She’s already taken protection in the form of the Kingdom’s gear, so now she needs to become a teacher.

In one other moment in the new trailer, she’s in front of Jerry and tells him to cover his ears as the then takes aim with a shotgun. It’s unclear if she’s killing a walker or setting up target practice, but she’s headed back to a Carol the enemy should fear.

In addition to Carol’s badassness returning, based on the fact that the King is walking around the Kingdom as everyone splits, it’s likely he’s covered in blood and he’ll need more than just his small army to fight for Rick (it’s also possible Shiva has just gotten killed…)

Do you think Carol can help the King get these people into fighting shape?
