When The Walking Dead returns for its seventh season later this month, we know what to expect from the first episode. At the end of last season, Negan came through on his promise to beat someone to death. Producers made the controversial decision not to show the victim, though. That cliffhanger ending has had fans frothing all year long.

So the first episode of Season 7 will obviously be the continuation of that scene. We’ll see who the victim was and the aftermath of that death. In fact, AMC has already released the title and a synopsis for the premiere episode. The title is ‘The Day Will Come When You Won’t Be.’ It’s a callback to a line Dr. Jenner uttered to Rick all the way back in Season 1.

The synopsis for episode 7×01 is incredibly vague, but that’s to be expected:

Last season ended with Rick and our group kneeling helplessly before Negan and his group. What Negan does will haunt those who survive forever.

But what happens after the season premiere? We may finally have a few tantalizing clues about that. Spoiler TV claims to have the titles and synopses for the following two episodes. If they’re right, both the titles and the synopses are also vague.

Episode 7×02 is supposedly called ‘The Well.’ Here’s the synopsis for the episode:

For a number of familiar faces, a new, well-established community seems too good to be true.

What does that mean? Honestly, it could mean anything. It’s so vague it could apply to any number of Walking Dead episodes. In fact, it’s a description that would apply to lot of television episodes of completely different shows.

Things don’t get much more specific with the next episode either. Episode 7×02 is allegedly titled ‘The Cell.’ Here’s the synopsis:

A new group of survivors seem to have it all in their impressive community; however, there is a price.

Wait, isn’t that the same description as the other episode? No, but it’s close. It’s clear that both episodes will be dealing with some new communities. One is full of familiar faces (Negan’s camp maybe?), while the other is a group of strangers (The Kingdom perhaps?).

Don’t Get Excited Just Yet

Don’t consider these titles and synopses to be set in stone. In fact, you should take it with healthy dose of salt. Titles for several Season 6 episodes “leaked” out and were later proven to be false. With the secrecy that AMC is going through to keep the events of Season 7 safe, it’s easy to think these are just vague enough to be real. The problem is that they’re equally vague enough to be fake.

We do know that The Kingdom will be explored at some point in the new season. Morgan and Carol were rescued by survivors from The Kingdom in the Season 6 finale. And we’ve already seen shots of Ezekiel and his tiger in trailers and promo photos. The question is whether that’s what these episodes are about and, if so, which one is actually about The Kingdom.
