Most Duck Dynasty fans are over the initial shock of the show ending, but that deep sadness still exists. Hopefully, keeping tabs on what the different Robertson family members are up to will help.

Jase and Missy Robertson talked with Reelz Channel about life post-stardom. So what has life been like?

“Once it’s over, it’s over,” Jase said. “And you start entertaining new ideas.”

Their day-to-day life has been “nice,” according to Jase. It was a vague answer, but it seems they’re relieved.

Missy jumped in and gave a more specific answer.

“It’s freed us up to kind of turn our focus on other things,” she said.

The “other things” she’s referencing are her jewelry line, Lamanin by Missy Robertson, as well as the Mia Moo Foundation, which raises money to help children with cleft lip and/or palate get the surgeries they need, even if their families can’t afford it.

Driven by the #ShaveJase campaign, they’re trying to raise $100,000 for the Mia Moo Fund, in which case Jase will shave his beard of seven years.

All fun aside, raising this money for their charity would mean a lot to Jase and Missy because their daughter, Mia, was born with a cleft lip and palate.

“When Mia was born we were living paycheck to paycheck and we decided to go into debt in order to receive the best possible care for our child,” Missy said. “Our wish is to alleviate that stress for other families through the Mia Moo Fund.”
