This week Jase Robertson decided to go where no Duckman has gone before…He shaved off his entire beard. Jase is the first of the Robertson brothers to go clean cut after the series finale. His wife, Missy Robertson, was ecstatic. Here are the most adorable moments from her account of the ordeal.
Missy Robertson Is Over The Moon
Missy Robertson is absolutely over the moon. She finally got her fresh faced husband back. The Duck Dynasty men originally would grow out a long beard for duck hunting season. The beard would keep them warm, and also helped with camouflage. However, A&E reportedly loved the look, and made the men sign a contract, stating they wouldn’t shave until the series finale.
Jase is now the first of his brothers to take advantage of the terminated contract. Jase shaved his beard to raise money for the Mia Moo foundation, a charity that helps families afflicted with cleft lip and palate.
Missy Robertson couldn’t wait to see her hairless man and decided to Facebook live the entire procedure. She opens the video saying, “They’re shaving Jase’s hair! We have the family here!” Korie and Rowdy Robertson can be seen in the family’s living room. Mia quickly comes to the kitchen. When asked when she last saw her dad without a beard, she couldn’t even remember.
Jase’s kids were much younger the last time he had a clean cut face. Mia might not even remember clearly, as she was only seven or eight when the show began production. “See these days?” Missy asked while showing a photo of Jase in the Holiday cook book. “These days are going away, bye bye!”

“I do not recognize myself,” Jase said from inside the bathroom. The big reveal was dramatic, to say the least. Missy could not wait to see Jase, but Jase seemed taken aback by his new appearance. During the final reveal, she clasped her hands to her mouth in awe. We couldn’t help but smile seeing how much joy she was feeling.
