Jadis Actress Signs On For Season 8 Role

During Season 7 of The Walking Dead, fans were skeptical about the newcomer and leader of the Heapsters, Jadis. The potential ally, turned villain, was strange, to say the least.

She led a group of people who decided to live in a dumpster, away from everyone else. Rather than work for supplies or necessities, they decided to simply wait and then steal those items.

Then, in the end, they sided with Negan over Rick.

After the season ended, actress PollyAnna McIntosh signed on to become a regular and many fans were upset to hear this news. After all, the way the season ended, it’s possible that we could have never seen the Heapsters again.

“I was warned that I’d get all sorts of death threats and stuff because I know a lot of actors have had rough treatment for what their characters have done – which is weird…” said the actress, PollyAnna.

“Luckily for me, I think the difference with Jadis is she wasn’t loyal to the group for that long so it was harder for people to get really mad. Plus, I was also real lucky that nobody died.”

The actress is pretty calm about the possibility of death threats.

Eugene’s Change To Darkness

This comment, of course, refers to the character Eugene. The actor, Josh McDermitt, who plays Eugene, actually received death threats when his character defected and joined the dark side.

This made the actor deactivate several of his social media accounts, which is unfortunate since he was highly involved with the community. McDermitt even wrote articles from time to time for Entertainment Weekly about the show.

When the series returns, it’s unclear which side Eugene will end up on, but Jadis may end up being a much greater enemy in the near future.

Do you think the Heapsters will one day become the Whisperers?

Flashback: Morgan Jones Still Seems Unstable…

Several characters on The Walking Dead have been bent to a point of breaking, but the two most iconic are likely Carol Peletier and Morgan Jones. Most likely, that is why these two keep coming back together. In the mid-season premiere of Season 8B, Morgan seems shaky once again.
