For 10 months, all we have been hearing about is Russia’s involvement in swaying the 2016 presidential election. Of course, the left has yet to offer any evidence to prove their claims. But, there is in indeed a Russia story and it has nothing to do with President Trump. Rather, this scandal belongs to none other than Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton.

A new report indicates that Obama knew Russian officials were using bribery, kickbacks, and extortion to gain a stake in America’s atomic energy industry. Yet, despite knowing this, the former president made deals to sell control of large amounts of uranium to Moscow.

According to The Hill, the FBI had a confidential U.S. witness working inside the Russia nuclear industry. That witness gathers documents and makes secret recordings that conclusively prove Russia compromised an American uranium trucking company. Executives at Transport Logistics International, kick back about $2 million to the Russians in exchange for no-bid contracts.

Interestingly, the biggest beneficiaries of the racketeering scheme are the Clintons. Specifically, the report notes that Russian nuclear officials funneled millions of dollars into the U.S. to benefit the Clinton Foundation. At the time, then-Secretary of State Clinton served on the government committee that approved the uranium deal.

DOJ Cover-Up

Moreover, Eric Holder’s Justice Department declined to press charges in the case. Back then, President Obama and Clinton’s State Department were attempting to restore relations between the two nuclear rivals. Instead, the DOJ continues to investigate for four more years. All the while, keeping it a secret from Congress and the American people.

“The Russians were compromising American contractors in the nuclear industry with kickbacks and extortion threats, all of which raised legitimate national security concerns,” a source tells the New York Post. “And none of that evidence got aired before the Obama administration made those decisions.”

Nevertheless, in 2015 both Obama and Clinton defend their decision to make the deal. Declaring that there was no evidence that Russians had done anything wrong, they conclude there was no national security reason to oppose the Uranium One deal. Ironically, neither of them are willing to make such a declaration about President Trump and Russia.

Incidentally, the president called-out Clinton for the uranium deal during the campaign. Then in March, he calls for a Senate panel to investigate ties between Russia and the Clinton Foundation. Today, President Trump addresses the new report on Twitter calling it, “the biggest story that Fake Media doesn’t want to follow!”

It’s not at all hard to agree with him, is it?
