Difficulties For Those Once Bitten

In the Season 7 finale, it looked like Michonne was a goner. Not only did one of the Heapsters get the jump on her, but Rick Grimes thought he watched her fall to her death when one of the two fell off a building in Alexandria with a scream.

Luckily, this wasn’t Michonne but that doesn’t mean she’s on the safe list. For comic book fans who know that Michonne has taken Andreas role in the AMC version of The Walking Dead, things are looking good for Michonne.

Quiet Death For Andrea

This quiet death for Andrea is somewhat fitting, but it obviously means that Rick Grimes is likely to lose his mind once again. In addition, if Michonne follows this same path, it’s possible she’ll be the next main character to die on television.

The televised version of Andrea got killed some time ago, which is why Michonne took her place as Rick’s love interest. The only way that Michonne could stay around longer than Andrea would be if Rick Grimes were to die, but that’s unlikely.

Rick and Michonne are supposed to lead Alexandria into a new world.

Is Michonne Crucial To Walking Dead Universe?

Unfortunately, Michonne might not be as essential to The Walking Dead universe as Rick Grimes would like for her to be. The show could even move up Michonne’s death like they’ve done in the past.

The show didn’t hesitate in killing off Glenn Rhee, even though he was almost (if not more) loved as much as Daryl Dixon or Rick Grimes. Michonne’s death could come moments after Negan’s War with Rick Grimes begins or after it ends.

If this happens, Rick will need to try and rebuild the Safe Zone, while mourning, which is something he’s no good at.

Do you think Michonne will die like Andrea did in the comics?
