You wouldn’t guess it, but Jessica Robertson is a competitive mother. She is so competitive that coaches don’t like her.

Jessica kept running on the field yelling encouragements and pointers. The thing is, she’s not the coach.

The actual coach turned to Jessica and told her to back off.

“I really need you to go sit down,” the coach said to her.

“You sure?” Jessica said, stalling.

“You ever coach before?” the coached asked her rhetorically.

Jessica stared at her blankly.

“I need you to go sit down,” the coach said.

Jep sat on the sidelines in his blanket wondering what the heck was going on.

“What is she doing on the field?” he asked incredulously.

Only a moment after the coach kicked her off the field, she skipped back on to the field, landing next to the coach.

“These drills are too simple,” she says.

That’s when the coach decided she’d had enough.

“I’ve tried to be patient with you,” the coach said. “But you need to go home.”

Jep, ever the humorous commentator, put his arm in front of his face.

“I wish I could hide right now,” he said.

And, folks, that’s how you get kicked out of a children’s soccer practice.

Afterward, Jessica said she got “kicked out,” only to be interrupted by Jep who pointed out she didn’t need to use air quotes to say she got kicked out.
