AMC’s “Bury Me Here” Shows Carol Alone… BUT That’s Not All

The Walking Dead | Photo Credit AMC Beyond the original promo, AMC has also released a short clip from “Bury Me Here” where Carol leaves her home to go out on the road.

In case you didn’t watch it, here’s a quick summary of what happened… WARNING: SPOILER AHEAD.

Before Carol completely leaves, she heads back to the Kingdom to find Morgan.

Without really thinking about it, she sees a few walkers outside the gate and develops a plan to take them out. She grabs an old sign, climbs up in a lookout tree-post, and takes them out one by one.

The Kingdom fighters seemed surprised by her survival skills…

…But Carol Wants The Truth

Carol does all of this to find Morgan.

Back to the promo

Here’s what a few fans started spotted – and what it means.

Carol asks Morgan to tell her the truth about what happened. Something makes her think that Daryl may have lied to her about Negan, because he didn’t want to hurt her.

While we’ve still only seen bits and pieces from these two clips — it looks like she may then go out on the road. Morgan may tell Carol that Daryl left so it’s possible that she decides to go out looking for him.

Then, King Ezekiel stumbles upon a sign that says “Bury Me Here” next to a grave…

So… Carol Is On The Hunt For Daryl Dixon

Maybe Carol is on a kamikaze mission like Sasha and Rosita, or perhaps she’s just being precautious as if she’s buying a burial plot.

There’s no definitive proof that Carol dug this hole, but if she left, the King would likely go looking for her.

Assuming all of these presumptions turn out to be true, Carol goes looking for Daryl or perhaps looking for Rick.

Either way, it’s clear that if she goes out on her own, some of that fire has sparked inside of her and she wants answers.

If she finds Daryl, it’s unclear how he will handle the situation, but likely, Carol will take big action.

Does this mean the end for peaceful Carol?
