Jim Parsons Didn’t Expect It To Take Off
When “Bazinga” was written into The Big Bang Theory script, Jim Parsons didn’t expect for it to become his signature catch phrase. He told Time Magazine, “I don’t remember the actual script…the writers will [add words in] while you’re standing there. Lee Aronsohn was the one who was just trying to find something for me to say…Bazinga was the thing.”
He said the writers loved it and thought, “that’s just ridiculous enough let’s do it.” But Jim Parsons wasn’t exactly excited about being attached to a catchphrase…
