Penny Wants a Baby

A pregnancy story line for The Big Bang Theory actress Kaley Cuoco may be the only way to keep Penny on the show.

Apparently, Cuoco is unhappy with the amount of attention currently happening in the pregnancy plot with Bernadette.

Therefore, a pregnancy for Penny and her husband, Leonard Hofstadter, might be the only way Cuoco continues with the show.

Penny Wants to be the Focus

Toronto Sun reported that Bernadette and Howard Wolowitz revealed in The Big Bang Theory Season 9 that they are to become first-time parents.

That plot was not assigned much importance during the previous season, but in Season 10, most of the episodes center on Bernadette, her mood swings, and her pregnancy journey.

Accordingly, because of the shift of the attention to Bernadette and her baby, Kaley Cuoco believes that the only way this will work out for her is if her character, Penny, will also get pregnant.

Fishy

This whole thing with Kaley wanting Penny to be pregnant seems weird to me.

She finds ways to express that she disapproves of lesser cast members in the show. The actress even stressed her rules on set. “No dogs and no babies.” Cuoco added she has an idea on how to delay the coming of the Holowitz’s bundle of joy; she said Bernadette (Melissa Rauch) could be pregnant for three seasons. Then the show will be free of the baby for a few more years.

In conclusion, this all sounds fishy to me. It seems like, someone is jealous of Melissa Rauch’s story lines. On top of all these “jealousy” rumors, Cuoco is supposedly still opting for more pay. I find Mayim Bialik’s point on this to be fascinating.

Be More Like Blossom

Bialik believes that she and her co-stars’ salaries are too high. Even though she’s not earning as much, the actress said that she doesn’t think about money a lot. This could be a hint that Bialik does not plan on asking her bosses for a raise.

“I am grateful to be working. I don’t think pay has anything to do with the quality of the show,” she said while at the 33rd Annual PaleyFest in Los Angeles earlier this year.

Bialik has been in the industry a very long time. It’s good that she doesn’t have a swell head. So, what do you guys think of all these jealously rumors? Let me know in the comments below.
