1Jesus, Easter Eggs and Chocolate

There is nothing better than the bright-eyed curiosity of a child. Their wonder and ability to see all that is good in the world, gives us hope. And three-year old Isla Nelson talking to her dad, Mark, about the complexities of Easter is priceless.

Between her adorable Scottish accent and the way she waves her arms when she talks, it’s no wonder her video has almost 40 million views in just two days. The conversation begins while she watches her dad decorating an Easter egg.

“Dad are you painting a face on an egg?” Isla asks, Dad responds “Yes I am.” Isla seems convinced that her dad has lost it, and she asks “Have you lost your mind?” He goes on to explain that the eggs are for Easter and then proceeds to ask her “what’s wrong with Easter now?”

Isla turned her attention away from the painted eggs and began inquiring about a much more serious, and somewhat dangerous, issue-chocolate. And it only got better from there. We have posted the video below so you can discover for yourself how it turned out. We hope it makes you smile as much as did us!

All of us here at Monday Monday Network wish you and your family a happy and blessed Easter.
