Wearing angry red, and looking far more wealthy than her impoverished Los Angeles constituents, Waters wowed the audience with her divisive rhetoric. “Whether it’s the President of the United States of America or any of his Cabinet, we will say to them, ‘We will resist you,'” she said.

Waters was given the award for being a “social humanitarian.”

Announcing Water’s win on their website, BET lauds her as an “unapologetic politician who stands up for what’s right.” Unfortunately, her definition of right couldn’t be more Left.

“We will not allow you to damage this country in the way that you’re doing,” she said receiving thunderous applause. “We will not allow you to take us backwards. Not only will we resist you, we will impeach you, Mr. President!” Waters also took aim at her detractors, issuing a warning: “If you come for me, I’m coming for you.”

Ending “Her Time”

In the eight months, President Trump has been in office, Waters has threatened his impeachment several times. She has also threatened to use the power of her political office to slam Dr. Ben Carson, whom she recently called a “white-wing nationalist.” In addition to her insidious threats, Waters has coined the phrase “Reclaiming My Time.”

Fortunately for conservatives, her time may be coming to end. Coming up for re-election in 2018, she has her first real challenger in twenty-seven years. Twenty-eight-year old Latino conservative, Omar Navarro, is hoping to take her place.

What is most perplexing to him is “How are people electing this person year after year?”
