Some people never miss an opportunity to step into the limelight. And Starbucks CEO, Howard Schultz, is no exception.

You may have heard by now, Schultz recently responded to President Trump’s refugee ban. He has pledged to hire 10,000 refugees worldwide over the next five years. A move that has liberal protesters fawning over him–and no doubt doubling down on their venti-sized Frappuccino.

The Syrian refugee crisis has been ongoing for years. They have been flooding into countries around the globe in record numbers for at least two years.

Starbucks issued a statement touting words like “acceptance” and “inclusion.” Although, it’s telling that security wasn’t mentioned. So are their decisions based on having a big heart or to make…

Big Profits

After the riots in Ferguson, MO., Schultz once again took advantage of the situation:

“I’ve always believed that core to our success has been our commitment to achieve the balance between our social conscience and responsible commerce. … Doing what is right for society and doing what is right for business cannot be mutually exclusive endeavors.”

Interesting. What has he, or his company, done to help the African-American family or community before they started making global headlines?

Their statement on the ambush of police officers in Dallas was…deafeningly silent. No statements of love and support were issued after the Boston bombing or Pulse Nightclub shooting either.

Popularity = profits.

He is nothing more than another failed Hillary supporter who is intent on vilifying President Trump.

Starbucks currently has 25,000 stores worldwide. An offer of 10,000 jobs over 5 years means that .08% of refugees will actually get a job. Pales in comparison to the money they will make from their “generous” offer.
