Fantasy vs. Reality
Photo Credit: denofgeek.com The king of Marvel Universe is learning that fantasy and reality are two very different things. Joss Whedon, is a successful director and a failed Hillary supporter.
He and his superhero friends couldn’t defeat President Trump. Now he has turned his sights to first daughter Ivanka.
In a recent Tweet, Whedon bashed Jared Kushner, Ivanka’s husband, then he basically called Ivanka a dog:
“Hey, keep your eyes on this fu*king prize too. He’s a Voldemort in training. Unlike the Pekingese he married under, can play the long game,”.
Even Whedon’s fans are unhappy about his comments:
“@joss The left used to be better than this. You used to be better than this.”
Other users called him out on his hypocrisy:
“@joss Maybe next time just come out and say “b**tch.” You ain’t fooling anyone with “Pekingese.” Is this how you fight for women’s rights?”
Ironically, Whedon has spent a great deal of time…
Advocating for Women?

In 2013, Whedon was honored by Equality Now for his work on gender equality. During his speech he said:
“You either believe women are people or you don’t. It’s that simple.”
Is Ivanka Trump not a woman? Maybe he meant “only women who believe like I do are people”?
But this is what they do. They support the right to speak for “some” people. Some women are people, just not all of them.
Their minds are like a maze –frustrating and confusing. People like Whedon call themselves activists. But nowhere in the definition is there a call for the harassing or belittling of others.
That is actually the very definition of a “bully” according to Webster’s Dictionary:
“(Verb)-use superior strength or influence to intimidate (someone), typically to force him or her to do what one wants.”
Tolerance is another word they throw around but don’t appear to understand. I guess they don’t have a dictionary next to their copy of “1984.”
Honest debate is the hallmark of a free democracy. Bullying women and children are third-world tyranny tactics.
