Ignore the Story
Photo Credit: libertynews.com Well now, if there was ever any proof needed that liberal media wants to hide the truth, CNN just served it up on a silver platter. After the bombshell revelation was made that top Obama adviser, Susan Rice, sought to unmask the names of Trump associates, several CNN correspondents went to great lengths to make sure their viewers didn’t believe it. CNN Tonight’s Don Lemon even went so far as to announce he would “ignore the news at all costs.”
While interviewing a Democratic congressman, CNN’s Chris Cuomo claimed it was “demonstrably untrue” Rice sought surveillance of the Trump team, even as that’s exactly what yesterday’s reports prove.
Over the last 24 hours, the network has also repeatedly called on its chief national security correspondent, Jim Sciutto, to dismiss the reports as a non-story. Sciutto has even excused Rice claiming ignorance of the unmasking scandal two weeks ago, arguing Rice “wasn’t aware” what unmasking Rep. Devin Nunes (D-Calif.) was referring to.
Another host, Alisyn Camerota, virtually begged Senator John McCain to dismiss the story as “unimportant.”
Not important? Had news broke that Trump was spying on Obama as a private citizen, mainstream media would most definitely be calling for…

On Monday night, Lemon began his broadcast with the announcement that the Rice reports are fake scandals manufactured by right-wing media and President Trump:
“On this program tonight, we will not insult your intelligence by pretending it’s legitimate,” said Lemon. “Nor will we aid and abet the people trying to misinform you, the American people, by creating a diversion. Not going to do it.
These are rich statements coming from a media organization that is fraught with misinformation and experts in “diversionary tactics.” However, they aren’t at all surprising.
Nonetheless, amidst all of CNN’s attempts to cover-up the story, there was one pleasant surprise.
Senator McCain was not persuaded to dismiss the Rice report and even alluded to the possibility of more evidence coming to light in what he referred to as a “multi-dimensional scandal.”
