“Give back on Giving Tuesday! It will make you feel sooooo good!.” writes the actress. The Big Bang Theory star Kaley Cuoco recently pledged $10,000 to Paw Works, a non-profit organization.
Essentially, the non-profit works to help animals find their lasting homes in Los Angeles, California. With her initial funds, the actress hopes her 3 million followers were back her cause and help other dogs in the area.
For fans that can’t donate as much, the actress only asked for donations of around $10 or more.
Meet Kaley Cuoco For $10 Donation
The organization, Paw Works, will also be holding a special VIP Gala in March 2018 to help with more pets. Those who donate have the chance to win a trip to Los Angeles to attend the event and meet Kaley Cuoco.
Every donation of $10 or more will automatically be added to the raffle. In fact, there are no limits to the number of times someone could donate that improves the chance of an individual winning the contest.
Over the years, Kaley Cuoco has become passionate about dogs and other charitable events like this one.
Actress Adopts Three Foster Dogs
Kaley Cuoco’s dogs Norman, Shirley, and Ruby were all adoptions. While chatting with the Los Angeles Times, the actress spoke about her fascination with pit bulls, especially since they’re often neglected for being “aggressive.”
“I was like, ‘Oh, my God. I’m obsessed with this kind of dog. I just found them to be so incredible. And, I realized what great dogs they were, and how horribly they were seen. I just didn’t want that to happen anymore. So it became a passion,” she added.
The actress originally adopted Norman eight years ago and knew right away she was going to cherish him for a lifetime. “I knew right away,” she said. “I wanted this dog in my life.”
In addition to all of these dogs, the actress also has horses, rescue bunnies, and other animals on her small piece of land. She and boyfriend Karl Cook love dogs, horses, and all types of animals.
