Top 10 Classic Rock Love Songs That Can Love While They Rock

By Chris McDonald | Monday Monday Staff -    2016-08-23

The overwhelmingly large percentage of articles and discussions about rock and classic rock are about the songs that shake the house when played at the appropriately loud volume level of 11.  Music most widely associated with Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, or Guns ‘n Roses would be the harder, more kick ass rock material as most reading this would agree.

The less talked about material is the softer, gentler, classic rock love songs that have occurred throughout the careers of most rock bands.  Now, let’s be clear-I am not talking about songs like “More Than Words” by Extreme.  The topic of this discussion is more the classic rock love songs that can convey the message of love, while also maintaining their rock ‘n roll dignity.
