In addition to the facts, he also seemed very Presidential during his conversation with the late night host. Not only did he thank the writer and photographer for the article, but he also seemed to congratulate and honor all of his colleagues.

Now, on Saturday Night Live, during his fifth time hosting the show, the Rock said, “I’m in.”

During the monologue, next to Alec Baldwin (who has been playing President Trump on the show), the Rock added: “Starting tonight, I am running for the President of the United States.”

As part of the monologue, it seemed like he was going to ask Alec Baldwin to step up and run with him, but then he brought out legendary actor, Tom Hanks, who has also been told that he should run for President.

Now, it looks like there’s going to be a Johnson-Hanks 2020 campaign.

“Now in the past, I wouldn’t have ever considered running for President. I didn’t think I was qualified,” continued the Rock. “But now I’m actually worried that I’m too qualified.”

“The truth is, America needs us,” added Tom Hanks. “No one can seem to agree on anything anymore, except for two things.” The Rock chimed in to add, “Pizza and us.” The fans of the show went wild.

“I have been in two movies where a plane crashes and people are still excited to see me on their flight,” joked Tom Hanks. “Together, we would get 100 percent of the vote. I would get the senior vote, because I fought in World War II, in like ten different movies…”

“I, of course, would get the minority vote, because everyone just assumes that I’m, well, whatever they are…” said the Rock.
