The rock band Boston just lost their drummer, Sib Hashian. He died after collapsing in the middle of a performance.

BostonThe late Sib Hashian, former drummer of Boston (photo via Rock Town Hall) Hashian, who was 67, was playing drums on the Legends of Rock Cruise when — right in the middle of his set — he fell to the floor, according to his son, Adam. Someone performed CPR on the rock star and they tried to use a defibrillator, but it was all unsuccessful.

The Legends of Rock Cruise started on March 18 and will continue, with other musicians performing in Hashian’s stead. They are expected to pay tribute to him during their performances.

Hashian was the Boston member who donned an afro and drove the songs from behind his drum kit. You know that song “More Than A Feeling”? That’s him playing the drums.

He’s survived by his wife, Suzanne, his son, Adam, and his daughters Aja and Lauren. Lauren has a daughter with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.
