The Symptoms of Stress

The symptoms of stress are varied. Each person experiences stressors differently and it can be difficult to ascertain the depth of the symptoms until they happen. Certainly, headaches, muscle aches and pains, and an increased heartbeat are indicators of stress. But provided stress dissipates quickly, there should be no long-term damage. The danger, however, is when stress is not managed sufficiently as it can lead to adrenal fatigue. This is serious.

The adrenal glands are the first line of defense in your body. When these are depleted, you may experience intense lethargy, become forgetful, and your memory may be reduced. In fact, intense lethargy is common. Stress can be overwhelming. It can affect concentration levels and your immune system is likely to plummet. This puts you at risk of potential health concerns. Chronic stress leads to serious health conditions, so it is best to utilize stress management techniques so to offset any health concerns.
