Gym Class Heroes Stereo Hearts – Classic Song of Romantic Nostalgia fuels up Adam Levine’s winning A-List Workout

Gym Class Heroes Stereo Hearts

Gym Class Heroes Stereo Hearts featuring Adam Levine is the kind of song that would not only melt your fat out but also your heart. His Personal Trainer, Harley Pasternak attested that if Adam did not make it as a musician, he would probably become an athlete. He definitely is dedicated, committed and surrendered towards the A-List workout plan that Pasternak designed for him to suite his jet setter’s lifestyle under the limelight.

Here’s the music video of the song that shares the same sentiments as to his workout to his beloved emphasized in the chorus:

[VIDEO:] Stereo Hearts Chorus signifies dedication, commitment and total surrender (that are also needed for working out) that goes…

“My heart’s a stereo
It beats for you, so listen close
Hear my thoughts in every no-o-o-te
Make me your radio
And turn me up when you feel low
This melody was meant for you
Just sing along to my stereo”

Workout to Beat Boredom

Harley Pasternak, Adam Levine’s personal trainer from Los Angeles observed that Adam gets bored while in between his jet-setting itinerary. In this basically short, but idle times Pasternak considered the hotel’s workout facilities in designing the A-List workout that the Maroon 5’s lead singer literally “attacked” that can last only less than 25 minutes.

Killing but Healing Tricks

Posture enhancing incline dumbbell row, knee-friendly reverse lunge and abs tightening superman are the main focus of this so-called A-list workout. This brings out the athletic nature and toughness of the star.

  • The incline row is particular in not giving pressure into Adam’s lower back but makes his upper back stronger thus the reason for his good posture.
  • Reverse lunge is done by stepping backwards not forward so as not to stress the knee.
  • Superman is the core strengthening effort that can be done anywhere right after waking up to practicing with the band in the studio.

The Process to Win

The three methods are the elements of the A-list circuit and the total workout is composed of six circuits – resting only at least one minute after ever circuit. Like every routine, it starts with a warm up. Here’s how it’s done:

Warming up for the Circuits with an Elliptical Machine

Duration: 4 minutes
Spend three minutes working at an easy pace to get warmed up. Then lower your body into a squat position by bending your hips back and pushing your knees out. (This will work your legs harder.) Go for one more minute in this position.

  1. Posture enhancing incline dumbbell row

    Duration: 30 rows
Organize an adjustable bench and set it at 30 to 45 degree angle. Lie on your chest, positioning chest near the end of the bench with collarbone passing the bench. This is to make sure that the chest is supported leaving the head hanging. Hold the dumbbells in both hands and row them from down up to your hips. Feel the pressure on your shoulder blades to know that you’ve done this correctly.

  2. Knee-friendly reverse lunge

    Duration: 30 lunges
Starting position is standing with feet widely apart matching your hip. Step back with right leg first. Kneel down on the right leg but stop when knee is just right above the floor with thigh parallel to the floor. Bring your torso upright throughout the process. Do the same on the left leg.

  3. Abs tightening superman

    Duration: 30 flexes
The basic position is done by laying face down on the floor mat with both arms extended in front like superman. Inhale to contract your glutes then raise both your chest and thighs off the ground. Your hips should be in contact with the floor when you do that. Keep holding that flex for a second, before lowering your arms and legs.

Ultimate Lifestyle Change

Pasternak witnessed that the success of Adam’s A-list workout does not rely on how often he goes to the gym in a regular basis. It’s incorporating all these exercises and more into his lifestyle. The singer and The Voice judge also do 14,000 steps on Fitbit tracker daily which is a good cardio alternative. Adam Levine is not only a lead singer, blind audition judge, workout enthusiast but also an avid yoga followed. No wonder he’s the sexiest man alive!
