Fear the Walking Dead just hit AMC with Season 3, but Season 8 of The Walking Dead is currently filming, set to air in October. Ross Marquand, who plays Aaron on the show, is pumped for the new episodes.

The Season 8 premiere trailer should come out next month at the San Diego Comic-Con. Marquand told Comic Book, “I think, for as cool as the tiger is, we all love Shiva, but I think what we’ve got to show here in Season 8 is going to trump everything that we’ve ever done on the show by far.”

The cast can’t share specifics, but that sounds like good news for fans.

MovieFone writes:

“The cast can’t share specifics, beyond the obvious plot point that Season 8 will follow the All Out War between Team Negan and Team Rick, picking up from the Season 7 finale.”

“But Marquand did tease, “I think with what we’re capturing so far I think it’s going to be the best season so far of the show. I think it’s so, so well crafted.” He said every episode has blown him away, “and I think it is going to raise the stakes even higher than the show has ever gone before, which is saying a lot considering the stake-rising we’ve been doing every single year for the last seven.”

Ross Marquand’s character Aaron is one of the first gay characters on the series, but now the character Jesus has also came out to Maggie. In addition to Marquand’s work on The Walking Dead, he’s also a master impersonator.

The actor has done some iconic web episodes and even a skit for Esquire where he pretends to be Kevin Spacy, Justin Timberlake, Michael Caine and various other celebrities where he nails the bit.

Do you think Season 8 is really as good as Marquand suggests?
