The Fight Is On When Walking Dead Returns
The Walking Dead | Photo Credit AMC When The Walking Dead Season 7B returns, there is a lot of audience speculation, but few real answers. As actors Corey Hawkins and Lennie James have made clear, there’s room to spill any secrets about the show.
Since the show started its break in December, fans have been wondering (and hoping) how the show’s tone may change the series returns. The midseason finale was certainly more hopeful than the seven episodes before it.
“You’re going to see a much lighter Rick because the thrill of the fight is on,” confirmed Andrew Lincoln.
Rick Grimes Will Smile Again

In addition to Lincoln’s joy that the series will turn back around, Showrunner Scott Gimple also said, “You will see Rick Grimes smile” when the series returns. Similarly, Greg Nicotero said there will be a “stupendous” action sequence.
Hopefully, this scene will occur in the first episode, “Rock in the Road” (Moviefone believes it will happen during the premier). It would appear that this rock meant Rick’s conversations with Gregory or the King, but perhaps it’s something else.
If the “stupendous” action scene happens in the premier, it could have something to do with Oceanside or the Saviors.
Unfinished Business On The Walking Dead

Scott Gimple told Entertainment Weekly “there’s definitely unfinished business” with the Oceanside group from “Swear.” It’s unclear if this means they’ll be joining Rick’s fight or opposing it, but they do certainly have a hate for the Saviors.
Other actors have teased about how important the finale episode of Season 7 will be, including Andrew Lincoln and Danai Gurira, who said, “It is a very powerful way to end the season and a very heart-stopping one at the same time.”
It’s difficult to say exactly what this means, but we’ll know soon enough.
